I am a thirty two year old mother of four. That pretty much sums it up.

I have no education further than ninth grade and I am about to be at home all day by myself as my youngest child is about to embark on her first year of school. I am excited and sad but all together ready to embark on my own mission which is to become an author.

For the past ten years I have been writing, when I get the chance. In ten years I have written two complete books of poetry, Countless childrens stories, short stories, songs and a kids chapter book. And not to forget the four other chapter books I have started and five more only in notes. A self help book for children and their parents and all the rest of the papers, notes, ideas ect... that at the moment have been forgotten.

So I figure if I could accomplish all of this in ten years while juggling four kids a husband, an eighty year old grandmother, pets, house work, a job and all the rest of the crap that goes along with life, maybe just maybe when I get those few precious hours a day, instead of filling it with work at some dead end job I could be using it to do what I love to do which is to write. But I have to start making money otherwise I will be stuck with the dead end job.

So here is where my adventure begins. I have gotten some pretty cool advice and critiques on here and want to thank everyone for a great site. This has really gave me the confidence to persue my dream.
