Have You Ever....?

Have you ever smelled the rain?

As it fell down from the sky?

Have you ever felt great pain?

Then prayed to God,and asked him why?

 

Have you ever held a child?

Felt the innocence and joy?

Have you seen a mother's love?

Changing grown men into boys?

 

Have you ever been in love?

Deep inside and know it's true?

Have you ever loved someone?

And know inside they love you too?

 

Have you ever met somebody new?

And swear you met somewhere before?

Have you ever felt that deja'vous?

Was just a portal or a door?

 

Have you ever laid out on your lawn?

Looking up at the stars at night?

Gazing at what God has spawn?

And knowing it will be alright?
