To My Love

I remember when I was young and my heart hurt for the first time

My Mumma told not to cry – the right one will come along

 

So I dreamed a dream that all of us have

A dream of a love that’s true

A dream where I was happy

A dream of a man like you.

 

When I found you I had already lived a life

A life full of hurt and pain

But I was still thankful for my experiences

They had made me tuff again.

 

I didn’t believe that true love was possible

I didn’t believe my dream would come true

I found it hard to believe good men exists

Until the day that I met you.

 

You made me feel so warm inside

I loved you the moment we met

And all the time we spent together

Is time I will never regret.

 

You’re a love I will always be happy about

You’re the love I’ve seen in my dreams

You’re the one that makes me happy

Atleast for now that’s how it seems
