I get the Blues

I don't know why I feel so blue
There's really nothing I can do
I shed a tear, and say:"My dear"
I am a wife, happy with my life
Mother, mommom, mother in law
Love when my grandchildren
walk in the door
They are so happy,
Even when I feel crappy
They love to come and stay with me
The little one I bounce on my knee
I laugh and smile
Try to hide, the blueness I feel
Way down, deep inside
I wonder if anyone feels like this
It's one of those days
I wish I could miss.

Critique:Oh yes we all feel those blues now and then. If I try to hide them long enough you know what?   They go away ;) Great job as always. ~Ron~

Critique:I do think that you were able to express your feelings here pretty well, Diane--don't we all get these blue days? I particularly liked how you wrote your poem in a way that it is contrasting--meaning that you present the reasons why you should feel happy but despite it, the blue feeling is still there... my favorite line has got to be the last 2 lines--really made me read it back & just say "So true!" Thanks for sharing Diane, and I'm hoping that you're not feeling too blue...

Critique::) Good Job Diane! -I removed my other critique since it was more of a note than a review of your poem. Thank you for sharing your writing with us!
