Fond Memories
Fond Memories
She planted her fond memories beside the trellised garden wall, and as life’s seasons passed her by those memories grew so tall. Through winter’s cold and April’s rain, summer’s warmth and autumn’s fall, although so many times were hard she held on through them all.
She sent out her soft tendrils wrapping gently round the wood, and he in turn gave her support just like a true friend should, providing her with structure when the growing times were good and a place to rest her beaten brow when harsh storms brought the flood.
As the wheel of fortunes turned, and in the midst of winter’s hold, the flowers of fond memories left, and the wood, now tired and old, began to break and crumble where once he’d stood so bold. Afraid to show his weakness, his fears of solitude untold.
Fear not, she’d never strayed afar she’d merely bowed her face and with her strengthened twines of love held him firmly, like a brace. She sent out brand new tendrils and as the sun resumed its place, fond memories and a friendship grew with such amazing grace. by bluemoon (Viewed 644 times)
