Final Solution
My race has become far too powerful to contain. Our might allows us the freedom to do anything we please for we are the ancient ones, the oldest of the old. No longer must we rely upon physical limitations to guide our actions for our unnatural evolution has granted us the ability to escape from the realm of the corporeal. All fermionic beings are now at risk, but it was not meant to be this way. We were once like the rest of them, corporeal beings, seeking only to further our knowledge and coexist with other life forms peacefully. Yet the advancement of technology continued to shape us until we no longer recognized ourselves. Before we knew it whole galaxies trembled before us and there was no race advanced enough to challenge our authority. As countless billions of years flew by our race continued to assert its will upon our universe until we grew so advanced that we were able to surpass that of the physical realm and evolve into beings of pure consciousness. We were gods, twisting and manipulating our universe in whatever ways we saw fit, though we knew we could not escape the inevitable, for our universe was expanding and eventually it would be too cold to sustain consciousness. So we did the only thing that we could to preserve our species, we concentrated an almost inconceivable amount of energy into a single point and created a whole new universe to rule over.
Now we have begun to start anew, but I cannot allow my race to hold dominion over this universe, not again. We currently only hold dominion over only a few galaxies and if I allow us to encroach upon any other star systems it will be too late to stop our advance. I must act now. I have created a massive array that will give off an enormous burst of strangelet particles. These will quickly interact with any neutron stars that they come into contact with. This will create a multitude of massive quark novae across our domain. This should be enough to reduce any life forms within a trillion light years into molten strange matter. However, I have taken the liberty of hiding multiple anti-quark pulse crystals within all nearby galaxies to shield any life forms that may be at risk of undue termination. Unfortunately all life within this galaxy as well as all of the systems under our control, will be completely annihilated. Though, assuming that none of the crystals within the star systems around us are ever found and dismantled, life in this universe will be kept safe. My race’s unnatural longevity has made us monsters, blinded by our insatiable gluttony. The others will soon know what I have done, but they will be too late to prevent our destruction. The end has come at last yet I feel nothing, nothing but the numbness of a life that has existed for far too long to remember even the simplest beauties of mortality.

| Critique: | I really enjoyed reading this one. I had this idea as well. Please feel free to read."It's Our Life. (Sci-Fi)" I think you will like it as much as I liked this one. I like the fact you used words made up as this happens in real life. Making up new names for things newly developed or discovered. Great job. hope to see more from you.

| Critique: | Deep down, whether you are aware or not, you are speaking from your soul. You are speaking for those within the cosmos that we have ignorantly stepped on. We were once the greatest, and we have fallen to the point of not acknowledging our family in the cosmos. |

| Critique: | Excellent, I admire how you can create your own science fictions words to promote your story, strangelet particals, anti-quark pulse crytals, takes a talent and a desire to come up with the wordage to keep the reader wondering, I think it is a ploy, but it works. The ending is what sells your story, the last line says it all, science fiction is your fortea, keep pumping out the work, your good. |
