The Story of Eternity

Inside the fire of the sun

Sits a sight so dark

In the moonlight above

sits the stalker of the night

These tradgedies are shown in front of blinded eyes

and now i feel its better that we all don't know

when we live and when we die

(Chorus)

All hope hangs in suspension

As we bring our deaths

For such strange reasons

We destroy all of whats left

Looking beyond the sights that blinded us

destroying the embers of creation

when we got to the otherside

the gates of heaven were sealed

Helpless our mirage's wander the skies

in search of another asylum to take over

in search of another asylum to destroy

We'll cross another bridge of lies

(Chorus)

In the realm of a god

we became servants

In the realm of a god

we were created

In the realm of a god

we were destroyed.

Critique:I agree with Dennis that it would be nice to have an idea as to what kind of tune you have in mind for this since you entered it as a lyric. As for the lyrics itself, I really liked the first stanza, the idea of seeing something dark within the sun, I like how there is something sinister that is being connoted here. There are some typos that need to be addressed (tradgedies-tragedies, i-I, otherside-  other side, mirage's -mirages, whats-what's). Your lyrics leaves the reader (maybe soon,  'listeners' would be the more appropriate term) something to ponder about, from life and death in general as well as the faith that he has...all the while thinking of what eternity has in store for us. You've touched on these subjects that are universal in nature and ulitmately indeed, it will be left upon them to think of where they stand.

Critique:Some good lyrics with a lot of meaning entwined in your words. It is kind of hard to imagine the presentation without the music. Some people can read lyrics and attach their own rhythm to the words, enhancing the experience, wish I could. I particularly enjoyed the last stanza because we see this happening all over the world. Thanks for sharing.
