| Critique: | I love the imagery of this one as well! I suppose nothing beats nature in creating works of wonder and beauty. I think webs are mesmerizing as well (hehe, I remember we were considering webs as a topic for our thesis...but scratched it because it's too darned hard to find spiders these days). It's really great how you were able to make the sight of a web special, and not just something that you'd want to brush off :). |

| Critique: | You're very good at painting a picture with your words. I can't think of a better way to describe a spider's web after a rain shower. Nice job! |

| Critique: | Another masterpiece--I never looked at it that way, the spider's web being "nature's chandelier" & you've put it in perspective perfectly--I distinctly remember how I loved looking at those pictures, droplets of water on webs in the nature books that our folks had, those were one of my favorites (together with the aurora borealis) and reading this made me smile, just remembering that...loved all your lines and it has quite a magical quality to it, actually--thanks for sharing and I'm crossing my fingers taht the votes comes rushing in for the contest--maybe I should post a note at the forums.... |
