My Journey
Chapter One
Allise, a hard working person. She lived the life that everyone wanted. She had the looks that every girl dreamed of. Blond, wind-swept hair that glistened perfectly as the sun shone down upon it, mesmerizing blue eyes, and her porcelain face that was filled with innocence often fooled people into thinking that she was perfect. People only knew from what they had saw at school, but Allise was tortured in her own home (not literally). Allise was neglected by her parents, up until the point where she thought to do the unthinkable; kill both of her parents.
The overpowering need to kill became too much for Allise to handle. Why was she doing this? What did she do to deserve this? Allise could see the horror in her mother’s eyes. Her pale white skin, her cold hands. Allise stood up, her eyes locked upon her mother's lifeless body. She'd done this to her... why? All that surrounded her were the four walls that bared only the pain that she carried with her for that last thirteen years of her life.
"He is still out there"
Allise muttered to her self, picturing her dad as she had last seen him.
Why did she spend so much time with him? Didn’t she know what he had been doing all along? Allise was the victim in an unforgettable crime. But her mother never believed her. Well look where that brings her now. Endless pain and suffering. The hunt for her dad was endless. But Allise had the bright glow of the moonlight to guide her way.
As Allise walked down the alley, she could hear the voices of the children. But she had to keep focus. Allise had to find her father, what ever it takes. She never looked back on what she did to her mother. Allise never felt bad because what her mother did was her choice. As she looked up, Allise sees the moon, like her mothers face it was filling her with more hatred towards her.
She could also see her father, although she loved him very much, she could not even begin to picture the horrible things that he did, or the horrible things that he will do. Allise walked down that dark path, and she sees people. She fears for her life, so many thoughts rushed through her head. 'Will I make it?' Is that one thought she hoped to be answered ‘yes’. Strangely enough, they stood by her, emotionless. Like they had seen a ghost.
As Allise continued on, her footsteps are the only thing she could hear next to her pounding heartbeat. As she looked off into the distance, she could see a convenience store. As she slowly walked toward it, she figured to check inside, hoping to find her father. As she peered in the window she saw him with a bunch on other men. Allise also saw a woman. Looked very much like her mom. But she never even bothered to entertain the thought, knowing she was dead. As she slowly walked inside, she knew that what she saw before her was a very familiar face.
"Mom?!"
Allise's heart sank. She was completely frozen. She didn't know if she should be angry or sad. But she knew that she had nobody. Not even her own parents to back her up. Allise quickly ran out of the store and in to the woods. As she ran deeper and deeper, she preached behind a rock and started to cry. It hurt so much that it wasn't a cry anymore. Slowly, it turned into a scream, a loud, piercing scream.
"Why had my mom betrayed me so cruelly?"
Allise said to herself
Other than the obvious reasons, she knew that they will come after her and try to kill her, one way or another. She was so scared. And being only thirteen years old, Allise didn’t have the strength to run anymore. Only bringing her self back to where she had first started. As she got up, she started walking around in the woods. Thinking it would ease her anger against them.
Although, they are her parents and she should love them no matter what. But right now, she can’t tell whether her feelings towards them are strong enough for it to be love, but yet it isn’t weak enough for it to be hate. As she walked around in the woods, Allise thought of all the good times they had as a family. But since her mother and father always had too many arguments, they hardly had any ‘good times’. Allise heard a rustle in between the bushes, and immediately she thought of her parents.
"Mom, Dad?!"
Allise said in a very frantic voice. She waited for a while, and she had no answer. So she turned turned around and walked away. She heard another rustle in between the same bushes. Allise turned around and I walked back to that same place.
"Mom, Dad?!"
Allise said in an even louder voice, but this time it was more scared than frantic. She still had no answer.
"I wonder"
Allise quietly muttered to her self, wondering what else could be in those bushes but she was too scared that she could put her safety in jeopardy, so she turned around and walked away. Closely reaching the edge of the forest, for a third time she heard a rustling sound but it was so dark that she thought that she was hallucinating. But at this point, Allise already felt indifferent towards my parents so she didn’t even bother to entertain the thought of them being in the bushes.
"I must be hallucinating."
Allise said in a very listless voice. She was extremely tired; as I looked around for a place to sleep she found a huge, lumpy boulder, and laid the rest of the night.
"Chirp, chirp."
Finally, it was morning and considering her surroundings she was very proud of myself for surviving in the woods for that night.
"Ugh, seriously?"
Having not eating for a long period of time, Allise was extremely hungry and felt as if she was about to pass out. As she looked around for food, all that surrounded her were trees and tons of leafs. Allise look disgusted at those leafs thinking that she had to eat them, although leafs are edible she didn’t even want to entertain the thought but I knew I had to eat sometime. As the leaf got closer and closer to my moth I finally brought myself to eat it.
"These are really good."
Allise muttered as she began to chew the leaves.
She was covered in leaves, twigs and small patches of dirt and she was probably hundreds of miles from home. But she could always see the bright side to things. Right now Allise was hopeless. She doesn't know where to go and she is still starving.
