Blank Pages
Light fades to black as the moon flickers with life Passions flow as your essence shimmer in shadows past Light which lingers as it caressed your chest Your hair, how it mingles in the distance of faded fantasies Lure and lust stand erect in the moonlit motions of yesteryear Rhyming the rot like diamond in dirt
This world of blank pages, roam in the mist Where those memories of a life time linger Those bits of time which tell me who I am Those liaisons we speak to, when we need little white lies Limericks rumble with laughter die silently Listening to lyrics whispering romance
Questions I ask were they just taking up space, When all was all before me, the possibilities, Of those who long for loves embrace Will you give me that chance that changes my fate Or will join in the laughter, while The queen of sorrows throws dirt on my grave
