The Time is Now

What does Jesus think about us          we've lost all our love and hope

We've based our lives around material things           no one has time to save their soul

Jesus died on the cross to save us          no one seems to appreciate that

What if Jesus came tomorrow          who of us would he take back

Jesus died to save our souls          in his Word we must believe

To put his words above all others          a home in Heaven we'll receive

We say we have no time to pray          but time is all we have

This life we have here on the earth          is but a step upon our path

From Heaven we started to Heaven we return          if our souls are free from temptation

Jesus will come for those who are saved          the rest will be left to damnation

Our days here left are very little          the amount is just unknown

But we know His coming is for certain          these words are wrote in stone

If everyday we wait for tomorrow          before to our Lord we ask "forgive"

Thats one less day we have to count on          for we may not have that day to live

Now is the time the time is now          to get on our knees and pray

Throw our hands and face to the Heavens          to our Lord before Judgment Day

Just lift your hands and face toward Heaven          God hears your words and thoughts

Nows the time to ask forgiveness          but you must ask with all your heart
