Voodoo Man

Deep in the misty swamps, of the Louisiana bogs.
Lives an ancient voodoo man, they call Zaminani Fog.
No one knows how old he is, he can't remember his birth.
He has witnessed mythical beasts, walking across this Earth.

He has the women's respect, men just shake with fear.
He's had over 50 wives, and loved ones he holds dear.
But he has potent magic, all spirits just stay away.
He doesn't have to wait 'til night, He practices through the day.

Many have tried to kill him, that many men are dead.
He could be a Zombie man, that's what some have said.
Many Shaman have collapsed, given a heart attack.
They saw him as an old man, but they were way off track.

Wizards have all gone away, I hear he is the reason.
Now Dragons are all dead, they lived past their season.
But Zaminani keeps on going, he's living still today.
No one knows how he does it, but he's obviously found a way.

So while your living out your life, hoping to fulfill your role.
Old Zaminani's out creeping around, trying to capture a soul.
So when you feel your hairs stand up, I think you better hide.
Zaminani could be on a search, for a soul that you could provide.

Critique:Hi Ron, I remember this being one of my favourites from before. Dark, mysterious and a little spooky. Enjoyed the read, thanks ~ Sharon :)
